Maintains sensitivity and awareness to the needs and concerns of the congregation for a meaningful worship; communicates these needs to the pastor; assists the pastor in planning all worship services throughout the year, coordinates the orderly preparation of the Holy Communion, and ensures adequate musical leadership.

Creates activities, structure, and opportunities for church members to respond to the evangelistic mission and needs of VOCC.

It is a means for VOCC to provide opportunities for the unchurched community to become more acquainted with Jesus Christ and His teachings and implement actions that would make the unchurch know Him clearly, love Him dearly and follow Him nearly.

Designs and implements a Christian education curriculum along with a variety of programs and activities for members of all ages, such as Bible studies, seminars and retreats in discipleship, evangelism, leadership development, baptismal preparation and marriage preparations.

Leads the effort in regularly communicating the social concerns of the community with the mission-oriented goals of VOCC to its members for their engagement directly or indirectly.

Develops mission studies by inviting mission speakers, mission films and assumes an active role in evaluating and qualifying local and foreign mission partners and beneficiaries of VOCC’s financial support.

Assists the pastor in genuinely caring for the congregation as spiritual brothers and sisters in the Jesus Christ and creates a process that would quickly integrate new members into the life of VOCC. 

Actively supports all the ministries to ensure their responsibilities are carried out faithfully. 

Works hand in hand with the other ministries in identifying inactive members and in developing a plan to reach out and re-activate them.

In cooperation with the governing board of VOCC, has full responsibility for key management functions of planning, organizing, assessing and reporting in compliance with local and national government regulations.

Has full responsibility for administrative and fiscal matters of VOCC, including, timely and accurate recording of business meetings, facility upkeep, and oversees all aspects of church publication – audio, video, photography and social media.

Partners with the senior pastor and the chief executive officer in assuring annual and long-range plans of VOCC are developed and implemented according to VOCC’s core values, mission and goals.
